Procedure:

Programming the immobilizer

If one or more parts of the immobilizer are replaced, such as black keys, decoder or engine control unit, system must be reprogrammed.
Proceed as follows: ensure that battery poles are correctly connected and the battery is in perfect operating condition.
Keep the red key and the black keys ready at hand.
Insert the red key (3) into the ignition switch lock (4).

Warning
When inserting a key, keep the other keys well away from the key operated switch, or they will upset the programming procedure.
Set the key to ON to turn on the instrument panel.

Warning
Before setting the key to ON, make sure the ignition lock has stayed in the OFF position for at least thirty seconds. The multifunction display (5) of the instrument panel will show how many keys you have inserted so far (at this time, “1”) and a
timer that counts down from 30.

Make sure countdown has begun and set the key to OFF before the end of countdown (you have about three seconds).
The display (5) shows a countdown timer beginning from 150.
Before the countdown ends, you have 15 seconds to remove the red key, insert a black key (6) and set the switch to “ON”. The display (5) shows how many keys you have inserted so far (at this time, “2”) and a timer thatcounts down from 30.

Make sure countdown has begun and set the key to OFF before the end of countdown (you have about three seconds).
The display (5) shows a count-down timer beginning from 150.
Before the countdown ends, you have 15 seconds to remove the black key, insert the other black key (6) and set the switch to “ON”.
The display (5) shows how many keys you have inserted so far (at this time, “3”) and a timer that counts down from 30.
Make sure countdown has begun and set the key to OFF before the end of countdown (you have about three seconds).

The display (5) shows how many keys you have inserted so far (at this time, “4”) and a timer that counts down from 30.
Make sure countdown has begun and set the key to OFF before the end of countdown (you have about three seconds).

If the programming procedure has been correct so far, the immobilizer LED (1) on the rev counter will flash.
The display (5) shows a count-down timer beginning from 150. Make sure countdown has begun and set the switch to “ON” before the countdown ends (you have 15 seconds). Note that the red key (3) is still in the switch. The display (5) shows the word “On”.

Leave the switch in the “ON” position for at least 5 seconds (however, not longer than 15 seconds) to allow enough time for data to be transferred from the instrument panel to the ECU and then set the switch to “OFF”.

To close the programming procedure, allow at least 10 seconds and then set the switch back to “ON” again.
System programming (instrument panel and ECU) is now complete.
Check for correct programming of the immobilizer system (see following paragraphs) and then refit the three keys into the ring (7).

Warning
Correct immobilizer programming is only ensured when the time limits and all other conditions described in the procedure are
observed.
The word “OFF” appearing on the display (5) while the procedure is still under way indicates that programming has been aborted.

Muchas gracias jefemaestro
