Installation Instructions for Daffe’s themes
The following themes created by Daffe can be installed
on any Windows 95/98/2000/XP platform.
The installation program was originally created using the
Desktop Architect application for Win 95/98/2000.
I have tried using them with WinXP and have had no problems.
All themes come in ZIP files as an exe (self-extracting) file.
The default path of the themes is:
C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes
Directions:
- Extract the theme you want to use by double-clicking the .exe file.
- Open the Display Properties window by R-clicking on your desktop
- Choose “Properties.”
- In the Theme drop-down menu, choose the option “Browse.”
- Find the theme you want to use
- Rreference the default path of the files listed above)
- Double-click on the .theme file.
- If running WinXP and you like the XP start bar, go to the Appearance tab.
- Choose “Windows XP style” under the Windows and buttons drop-down menu.
- Click “Apply”

This theme is considered freeware
and should be distributed as such.
The Ducati Motorcycle Package includes
the following theme parts:
1 Background usable for screen sizes
up to and including 1400x1050
Sounds
Webviews
Logo.sys files
Icons, pointers, cursors
It does not include any screensavers
(as it would make the file too large).
However, the Monster screensaver may
be downloaded from www.ducati.com
(look in the DucatiWorld page)
All associated files (including the
webviews, and logo.sys files) are
referenced in subfolders in the
Monster folder located in your Plus!/Themes
directory and should not overwrite your
original logo.sys files (usually located
in your Windows or Winnt folder).
The Monster, and Superbike Themes come in
a self-installing file and is very easy to install. Just
follow the on-screen directions. If youare able to
change your own oil or lube your own chain on
your Monster or superbike, then you
shouldn’t have any problems with installation.
Recommended: it is recommended that you
use Desktop Architect 2.0 (or 2.11) to
manage your themes. It may be downloaded
either from: www.desktoparchitect.com or
www.themedoctor.com.
